Congressman Thompson Announces a USDA Loan of $3,558,000 for the Hilldale Water District in Warren County

BOLTON, MISSISSIPPI – Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced that the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development has made a $3,558,000 Water and Waste Disposal Loan to the Hilldale Water District, Inc. in Warren County.

These Rural Development funds will be used to construct one 700 GPM water well to help alleviate a draw down of the Sparta Aquifer.  The aquifer will be able to produce the amount of water for the demand of the 1797 current users, with the new well construction.  The project will also require additional cooling and aeration treatment.
